Registered Nurse (RN)

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high quality care through detailed assessment, patient-specific care planning, and effective communication with the multidisciplinary team. This will require that you work in close cooperation with specialists in a variety of disciplines.

The ideal candidate must be highly detail and goal-oriented, with superior analytic, critical-thinking and time-management skills. They must possess the ability to accurately assess patient conditions and to react quickly in emergency situations. They must also have a positive and empathetic personality with the ability to work effectively with others as part of a multidisciplinary team in a high-stress environment. It is also vital that they have excellent communication skills and consistently display a professional attitude.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Providing direct patient care to inpatients
  • Supervising care, treatment and services of patient care provided by LPN’s, CNA’s, and other staff on assigned unit and shift
  • Assessment and reassessment of patients
  • Communicating appropriate information with the interdisciplinary team
  • Reporting patient concerns and changes in condition to supervisor and/or physician in a timely manner
  • Creating a plan of care that is individualized to the patients’ needs and is reflective of the patients goals

Requirements

  • Current RN License
  • BLS certification required, ACLS certification preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
